Can a football really drop 2 PSI in the cold? How about a basketball or a volleyball? What happens when you heat them up? Use this app (and associated lesson plans) to engage your students in a hands-on test of the ideal gas law, and maybe help settle the debate. Designed for iPad but also works on iPhone. Students can review and share their data through Aecerns Data Hub (aecern.org). Teachers can borrow and modify lesson plans, and then assign them to their students from the same website.
